Holiday Tips

There are so many awkward moments around giving and receiving gifts because we are not quite sure how to do it. I’m sharing my holiday gifting tips to make your season merry and bright.

Where to begin?

Make a gift list and write down who you would like to buy gifts for.

The key to determine who gets a gift depends on your budget and the nature of your relationship.

Determine a budget that is comfortable for you.

Organize and categorize the names on your list. Family, Friends, Clients etc

Place a dollar amount next to each person’s name and stick to it.

How to determine who gets a tip for the holidays

Usually we tip our service  providers. We want to give them some type of acknowledgment. If they treat you with courtesy & respect you want to acknowledge them this time of you.

*Do not be pressured by dollar amounts.

*Give what you can afford.

*Tipping guidelines are SOFT guidelines.

*Always include a Holiday Card with a heartfelt message.

Holiday Sentiments

Give what you can afford from the heart.

Emphasize Memories. Not the gift.

Receive a gift in the spirit in which it was given.

Think beyond material gifts.  Take someone to lunch. Spend quality time with the people you love.
